The story lineup is nicely varied, but “A String of Blue Beads” has always been a favorite of mine for its quiet, unexpected tenderness. That kind of small, unassuming gift often means more than the grand gestures we stress over during the season. It’s a good reminder to focus on the little moments rather than the perfect wrapping.
